Terms of service
§ 1 Scope and provider
(1) These terms apply to the use of the software platform Amtvia (“service”), operated by Muhammad Tauqeer Khalid (“provider”; address in the Impressum).
(2) Amtvia is an AI-based platform that explains letters from authorities and other organisations in Germany, shows possible next steps, calculates deadlines and prepares reply letters.
§ 2 Services
(1) Explanations, steps and sample letters are created automatically with AI and fixed rules. Despite checks, they can contain mistakes. Every step shows the sentence from the letter it is based on; please compare important details (deadlines, amounts) with the original.
(2) There is no right to constant availability. Maintenance and technical problems are possible.
§ 3 Account
(1) An account is required. Users must be of legal age or act with the consent of their legal guardians.
(2) Login details must be kept secret and protected from access by others.
§ 4 Plans (Free / Pro)
(1) Free: free of charge, with a limited number of letter explanations and questions per month.
(2) Pro (€7.99 per month): higher limits plus options, reply letters (PDF in DIN 5008 format or e-mail) and saving results.
(3) The current scope of each plan is shown on the pricing page and under “Plan & account”. Limits apply per calendar month and expire at the end of the month. There is no right to the free plan being offered permanently.
§ 5 Buying, payment and cancelling Pro
(1) Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC) as reseller (“Merchant of Record”). Your contract for purchase and payment is with Lemon Squeezy, whose terms also apply. Lemon Squeezy issues invoices and pays the VAT.
(2) The subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time for the end of the current billing month – under “Plan & account” → “Manage subscription”. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
§ 6 Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal when buying Pro. Lemon Squeezy provides the withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form during checkout and in the confirmation e-mail. The right can end early under the statutory rules if you expressly agreed that the service starts before the withdrawal period ends.
§ 7 No legal advice
Amtvia does not provide legal services within the meaning of the German Legal Services Act (RDG). The service provides automated translation and comprehension aids, summaries and sample letters. Users check every letter for correctness and completeness before using it. See also No legal advice.
§ 8 User obligations
Users do not misuse the service – in particular they do not upload content they are not entitled to use, do not try to get around security measures or limits, and do not use the service automatically on a large scale.
§ 9 Liability
(1) The provider is fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act.
(2) For slight negligence the provider is only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
(3) For missed official deadlines, incorrect information provided by users or disadvantages from using sample letters, the provider is only liable within paragraphs 1 and 2.
§ 10 Term and deleting your account
Users can have their account deleted at any time (e-mail to support@amtvia.de). The provider may block or terminate accounts for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
§ 11 Changes
Changes to these terms are announced by e-mail at least four weeks before they take effect. If users do not object before then, the changes count as accepted; the announcement points this out. If users object, either side may terminate the contract.
§ 12 Final provisions
(1) German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where consumers normally live remain unaffected.
(2) If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions stay valid.
